At about 1:48 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, members of the District C-6 (South Boston) Drug Control Unit, District D-14 (Brighton/Allston) Drug Control Unit, and District A-1 (Downtown) Drug Control Unit concluded an investigation into the suspected drug distribution activity of 45-year-old Jorge Ramirez of Roxbury.
Following an extensive investigation, officers obtained a search warrant from Roxbury District Court on September 2, 2025, for Ramirez and his residence at 1113 Harrison Avenue. On September 7, investigators established surveillance at the address and observed Ramirez exit the building. Officers approached and safely detained him without incident.
Officers then conducted a lawful search of the residence, resulting in the recovery of the following:
- One plastic bag containing approximately 62 grams of cocaine (Inside a kitchen cabinet)
- One plastic bag containing approximately 60 grams of crack cocaine (Inside a kitchen cabinet)
- Three plastic bags containing approximately 5 grams of crack cocaine (hidden inside candles)
- An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency
Investigators also observed additional items consistent with drug distribution, including plastic bags, gloves, a scale, and multiple cell phones.
Ramirez was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Trafficking Cocaine, 100 grams or more, less than 200 grams.
