Officers from the Boston Police Youth Violence Strike Force, Bureau of Community Engagement and the BPD SWAT Team made a surprise visit to the Boston College High School Youth Summer Camp – joined by Copper our Comfort Dog and the BPD Ice Cream Truck!
Campers had the unique opportunity to meet officers, spend time with Copper, explore the BPD BearCat, and even try on real police gear. Everyone enjoyed complimentary ice cream, courtesy of the Boston Police Foundation and HP Hood.
It was a great way to conclude summer break and get ready for the upcoming school year!
