The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the accompanying images in connection with an ongoing larceny investigation.
Since June 2025, the Sunglass Hut located at 7 Faneuil Hall Marketplace has been the target of seven reported shoplifting incidents involving the same unidentified suspects. During these incidents, which have consistently taken place between Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM, the suspects have stolen an estimated $18,000 worth of merchandise.
Detectives assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is strongly urged to contact District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-4571.

06/07/25 – Suspect (white male, gray sweatshirt with red/white stripes, gray sweatpants, black & white sneakers, face mask) stole 8 pairs of sunglasses.
07/09/25 – Suspect (white male, black mask, gray sweater w/ “Nightmare Before Christmas” skull, blue jeans, black boots) stole 8 pairs of sunglasses before fleeing into nearby alley.
07/11/25 – Suspect (white male, 30s, light beard, gray hoodie, dark pants, black boots) stole 7 pairs of sunglasses , fleeing toward Haymarket.
07/29/25 – Suspect (Black male, thin build, 5’6”, mustache, glasses, long braids, “Holy Grail” hat, “Godspeed” shirt, khakis, construction boots) stole 3 pairs of sunglasses
08/05/25 – Suspect (white male, late 30s, light blue hoodie w/ “JC” on sleeve, baseball cap, black shorts, Nike sneakers, backpack) stole 6 pairs of sunglasses
08/14/25 – Suspect (white male, royal blue Reebok hoodie, red-brim hat, dark pants, dark shoes) stole 8 pairs of sunglasses.
