About 11:15 PM, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to the area of 514 Geneva Avenue for a report of a person stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. Officers began to render medical aid, and Boston EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were provided with a description of the suspect, and were able to locate him in the area of Devon Street.
Erinson Diaz Soto, 22, of Dorchester, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to wit Knife.
