Boston Police Collaborates with Boston Police Foundation and AT&T to Donate 200 Laptops to School Age Students in Boston

Commissioner Cox joined our partners from the Boston Police Foundation COP and AT&T to provide 200 laptops and new backpacks to school-aged students across Boston.

Each laptop, loaded with Microsoft Office, is being provided to youth in each police district/neighborhood – as well as to students supported through our Crimes Against Children Unit, Youth Violence Strike Force, Homicide Unit, and the Bureau of Community Engagement.

To celebrate, students joined officers at the event, with the BPD Ice Cream Truck and Slush Cart on hand to make the day even more special.

This donation is part of AT&T’s broader efforts with the Boston Police Foundation to support families and give young people the tools they need for success.
