Investigation Update: At about 2:46 PM, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit, and Homicide Detectives, arrested Taylor Hurst, 42, of Foxboro, in the area of 1 City Hall Plaza.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted for the Murder. Hurst is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 8:06 PM, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a death investigation in the area of 56 Patten Street, Jamaica Plain. Full notifications were requested and Homicide Detectives responded and led the investigation.
