Junior officers from South Boston, Dorchester, and Back Bay/South End had an unforgettable time as part of the Boston Junior Police Academy!
From playing baseball and practicing their swings at Top Golf, to a special visit to Gillette Stadium, it was an experience packed with fun and learning. Our Harbor Unit took the future officers out on the water to see the City and the various jobs within the Boston Police Department from a different vantage point. The BPD K-9 Unit and Bomb Squad delivered an educational demonstration that had everyone’s full attention.
Programs like this give our youth a behind-the-scenes look at the many roles within the Boston Police Department while building lasting connections with our officers.
