The Newton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance, with support from the Boston Police Department, in locating 16-year-old Joel Suriel of Newton. Joel was reported missing on Saturday, August 9, 2025. He is known to frequent the Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods and was recently observed at the McDonald’s on Warren Street as well as Harambee Park.
Joel is described as a male, 16 years of age, approximately 5’11” tall, weighing 130 pounds.
The Boston Police Department is actively assisting in the effort to locate Joel and urges anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call 911 immediately or contact the Newton Police Department at (617) 796-2123.
