Cancel BPD Community Alert: Detectives No Longer Seek Public’s Help in Commercial Burglary Investigation in Allston

The Boston Police Department is no longer requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the accompanying images in connection with an ongoing commercial burglary investigation.

At approximately 2:22 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025, a commercial breaking and entering occurred at an automotive dealership located at 1188 Commonwealth Avenue in Allston. The suspect, described as a bald White male, unlawfully entered the premises and stole two dealer registration plates along with several electric bicycles valued at several thousand dollars.

The suspect arrived and fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck bearing a cursive “LM” on the side. The vehicle appears to be a work truck and was equipped with a small shop vacuum and toolbox in the bed, possibly indicating affiliation with a property management company.
