BPD in the Community: District B-2 and Bureau of Community Engagement Wrap Up Spring Women’s Self Defense Classes

Officers from District B-2 and the Bureau of Community Engagement recently wrapped up the final session of our Women’s Self-Defense Class!

With a strong and consistent turnout of more than 20 participants each week, attendees learned valuable techniques to protect themselves in a variety of real-life scenarios. The energy, dedication, and support throughout the program made it a great example of Community Policing in action.

Due to the program’s success and continued interest, we’re excited to announce that classes will resume this fall!

If you have any interest in taking part in future classes like this, please feel free to call the District B-2 Community Service Office at 617-343-4278 or the Bureau of Community Engagement at 617-343-4345.
