BPD in the Community: On June 28, 2025, E-13 Community Service Officers teamed up with HOPE worldwide Massachusetts and the KIT Bike Club to host the annual Bike Safety and Skills Day, a meaningful event aimed at empowering local youth through biking.
Officers worked closely with 25 children and their families, leading hands-on bike safety lessons, teaching essential riding skills, and sharing important tips about the rules of the road. Each child received a free bicycle, adding excitement and joy to the day.
More than just a fun event, the day was a powerful opportunity to build trust and strengthen relationships between officers and the community they serve. Through mentorship and connection, E-13 officers continue to show their commitment to creating a safer, stronger, and more united neighborhood.
