Death Investigation in the Area of 163 Ruthven Street in Roxbury

At approximately 10:01 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 163 Ruthven Street in Roxbury.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim outside of this location, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Preliminary investigation suggests the incident may have occurred inside a vehicle that subsequently crashed. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
