BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Assault and Battery Suspect in Downtown Boston

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the accompanying images in connection to an ongoing investigation into an Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:14 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Starbucks located at 8 Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Downtown Boston. During the incident, an unidentified male suspect reportedly vandalized the store and threw metal cups, striking an employee.

The suspect is described as a white male of heavy build, wearing a grey t-shirt and black basketball shorts. He was last seen fleeing into Quincy Market.
