At approximately 7:48 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) observed shots fired at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Intervale Street, coinciding with a ShotSpotter activation in the area.
Responding officers secured the scene, recovered ballistic evidence, and requested additional units to assist in canvassing the area for potential suspects, victims, and further evidence.
During the search, K9 Logan and his handler responded to the scene and conducted a search of the surrounding area. As a result of their efforts, a firearm was located concealed in dense brush within Ceylon Park. District B-2 Detectives responded and identified the recovered weapon as a black Glock firearm bearing two serial numbers. The firearm was equipped with a black Glock .40 caliber magazine capable of holding 15 rounds, with 14 .40 caliber rounds recovered inside the magazine.
