BPS Students & BPD Officers in Penpal Program Meet for the First Time

Since October, Officers from the Boston Police Department have been exchanging letters with 4th graders at the Curtis Guild Elementary School in East Boston as part of a special Pen Pal Program designed to build positive relationships between students and police officers.

The program came full circle as students and their officer penpals finally met in person!

We’re grateful to the BPS and the Curtis Guild School for partnering with us on this meaningful initiative and giving our officers the opportunity to connect with some of the youngest members of our community in such a fun and thoughtful way!
