Two Suspects Arrested for Firearm Charges in Roxbury

On Monday, May 19, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Sebastian Fecu, 22, of Dorchester, and Andre Landrum, 21, of Mattapan, on various firearm offenses.

A 911 call was received for a loud group inside of the park at 22 Danube Street. Officers approached the group, and multiple individuals immediately took off in a full sprint. A foot pursuit ensued, and officers quickly were able to stop one of the suspects, and broadcast a description of the other suspects fleeing.

While searching the area, officers located one of the suspects attempting to throw a backpack over a fence. The suspect was apprehended in the area of 177 Blue Hill Avenue, and the backpack was observed to have been caught on the fence. The backpack was frisked and a firearm was recovered from inside. The firearm was determined to be a Glock 32 with one round in the chamber and nineteen rounds in the magazine. A laser sight was also affixed to the firearm.

A ballistic K9 was requested to respond to the playground area in assistance for searching for any discarded weapons. A group of individuals still congregating in the area, now began to walk towards Dewey Street. Officers stopped one of the individuals who was seen wearing gloves, a hood over his head and a backpack.

Due to the presence of a firearm recovered, a pat frisk was conducted. A plastic bag of ammunition was recovered from the suspect’s backpack. The ammunition was determined to be three rounds of 9mmm and two rounds of .380.

Fecu was placed under arrest is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charges:

–          Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

–          Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device

–          Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

–          Unlawful Possession of a Loaded Firearm

–          Trespassing

Landrum was charged with Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and also expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
