The District A-1 Community Service Office was on hand to help kick off the Charlestown Little League Baseball season with their annual parade through the Charlestown community.
Officers helped ensure a safe and smooth route for players, coaches, and families as they made their way to Barry Field. To cap off the celebration, the BPD Ice Cream Truck (Thanks to the Boston Police Foundation) was there to hand out delicious ice cream and bring some smiles before the first pitch of the season.
It was a great way to kick off another exciting season of Charlestown Little League Baseball!
