Drug Control Units Recovered Two Firearms and about 2,000 Grams of Cocaine

At about 1:44 PM, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of Districts C-6 (South Boston), D-14 (Allston/Brighton), E-13 (Jamaica Plain), and B-3 (Mattapan) arrested Mohamed Jalloh, 21, of Dorchester, Mekhi Phipps-Dedrick, 22, of Dorchester, and William Pope-Dedrick, 29, of Dorchester, on multiple firearm and drug trafficking charges.

Officers were conducting a drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 30 Thane Street, Dorchester. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered a Glock 23 with one round in the chamber and twelve rounds in the magazine, and a Glock 26 with round in the chamber and fourteen rounds in the magazine.

The drugs that were recovered were determined to weigh approximately 1,985 grams of Cocaine, and 55 grams of Marijuana. Officers also recovered $9,980 in U.S. currency.

All three suspects were placed under arrest and are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:

  • Two Counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
  • Two Counts of Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Trafficking of Cocaine, 200 Grams or More
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D
  • Drug Violation Near School Park

Pope-Dedrick was also charged with: Armed Career Criminal Level 2, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 3rd Offense.
