Drug Control Units Recovered a Firearm and Trafficking Amounts of Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine

At about 7:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District C-6 (South Boston) and District A-7 (East Boston) arrested Ayman Mohamed, 19, of Dorchester, on firearm and drug trafficking charges.

Officers were conducting a drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 108 North Point Drive, Dorchester. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered approximately eighty-nine grams of crack cocaine, seventeen grams of Fentanyl, and about $21,069 in U.S. Currency. Officers also recovered a Glock 23 with one round in the chamber and eighteen rounds in a high-capacity magazine.

Mohamed was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court for the following charges:

–          Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

–          Possession of Ammunition without an FID

–          Unlawful Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device

–          Improper Storage of a Firearm

–          Trafficking of Class A

–          Trafficking of Class B
