Boston Police joins the fun at the Healthy Kids Day in West Roxbury!
Captain Michael Hegarty, officers from the District E-5 Community Service Office, the BPD Crime Scene Unit, and Bomb Squad joined families at the West Roxbury YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day at Billings Field!
From checking out real police gear to hopping aboard specialty vehicles, kids got a hands-on look at what our officers do. Copper the Comfort Dog was also a big hit, spreading smiles and comfort wherever she went.
