Officers from the District C-6 (South Boston) Community Service Office, along with Copper the BPD Comfort Dog, were excited to attend the Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy’s Columbia Campus for their Community Welcoming Day!
It was a lively afternoon filled with food, music, and games as students, families, and staff came together to celebrate the South Boston community. Officers enjoyed spending time with everyone, answering questions, and joining in the fun—while Copper made sure to spread plenty of comfort.
Events like this are a great way to build relationships and remind us what Community Policing is all about!
