At about 4:00 AM, on Friday, April 18, 2025, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested Kora Banville, 26, of Boston, on breaking and entering charges.
Officers responded to the area of 321 Centre Street for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Officers were advised by the victim that someone was breaking into the rear of the business.
Upon arrival, officers observed a female suspect exiting the rear door, holding a cash register drawer in her hands. The suspect was also seen pulling two shopping carts of unknown merchandise from the store.
As officers approached the suspect, the suspect immediately fled the area. A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was apprehended in the area of Round Hill Street. Officers were able to recover and return all of the stolen items. Officers returned to the scene and recovered a large metal pipe, and observed that a rear window had been broken.
Banville was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charge:

Officers also determined that the suspect had three outstanding warrants for her arrest for charges of Possession of Class A, Shoplifting by Asportation, Larceny over $1,200, Breaking and Entering Daytime for Felony, and Larceny from a Building.
