BPD in the Community: District D-14 Welcome Brighton High School Students for District Station Tour

Students from Brighton High School participating in the Apprentice Learning Program have been meeting with Boston Police Officers every Tuesday to learn about careers in law enforcement.

So far, they’ve met with officers from the Bicycle Unit, Drug Unit, and SWAT Team—getting an inside look at specialized police work.

This week, the students visited District D-14 (Allston/Brighton), where they enjoyed lunch before exploring the station. They toured the report writing area, booking area, and police cruisers, and even learned how to lift fingerprints from detectives!

A great hands-on experience, giving students a closer look at what it means to serve and protect those we serve!
