Drug Control Units Recovered 213 Grams of Fentanyl and Two Firearms Following Multiple Search Warrants

At about 6:08 AM, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District B-2 (Roxbury), D-4 (South End) and E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) with the assistance of the DEA Task Force, arrested Robelin Alcantara, 26, of Dorchester, and Ruth Cruz, 26, of Dorchester, and Sebastian Lorenzo, 27 of Roxbury, for drug and firearm offenses.

Officers were conducting a drug investigation and execution of a search warrant in the area 167 Homestead Street. As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered a Kel-Tec firearm with one round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered approximately 133 grams of Fentanyl, a digital scale, and various drug packaging material.

Officers also executed a search warrant in the area of 3 Mount Pleasant Terrace. As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered a Ruger 380, with a loaded magazine next to it with four rounds. Officers also recovered approximately 80 grams of Fentanyl, and about $1,170 in U.S. Currency.

Both Alcantara and Cruz were placed under arrest and are expected to be arraigned in Roxbury Court for the following charges:

–          Trafficking of Class A

–          Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

–          Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

Officers also determined that Alcantara had four active warrants for various charges to include Trafficking of Class A, Distribution of Class A, Unlawful Possession of a firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

Lorenzo was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury Court for the following charges:

–          Trafficking of Class A

–          Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

–          Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

–          Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B

–          Improper Storage of a Firearm
