At about 6:41 PM, on Monday, March 24, 2025, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested Michael Paul, 42, of Scituate, for breaking and entering.
Officers responded to the area of 72 Walnut Park for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers were advised that the suspect made entrance into an apartment through a rear door, and exited through the basement front door. Officers were advised that no belongings were stolen from the apartment.
Officers were provided a description of the suspect, and located him in the area of 2044 Columbus Avenue. Officers conducted a search incident to arrest and recovered a plastic bag of drugs from his sock, and two glass pipes.
Paul was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Breaking and Entering for Misdemeanor
- Trespassing
- Possession of Class B
