Inspiring the Next Generation!
Commissioner Cox, as well as officers from the District E-13 & District B-2 Community Service Office spent time with local youth at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Jamaica Plain for a meet and greet with Reverend Robert Gray, the NBA Chaplain for the Boston Celtics, and Celtics forward Xavier Tillman.
The youth took photos and got autographs and engaged in a meaningful discussion about making healthy life choices and putting in the hard work to succeed in life.
This event is a shining example of Community Policing in action, as officers continue to build trust, foster mentorship, and create positive connections with those that we serve.
