Drugs, Cash, and Firearm Seized During Dorchester Search Warrant

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at approximately 10:24 AM, Officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) and District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Units executed a search warrant at 51 Norton Street, resulting in the arrests of Julian Niles, 34, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Daeshawn Jackson, 21, of Boston, for drug and firearm-related offenses.


Prior to executing the search warrant, Officers conducted surveillance at the residence. During the operation, Jackson was observed entering and exiting the building multiple times. Niles was seen arriving on an electric scooter and entering the premises. Based on prior intelligence, investigative findings, and their combined training and experience, Officers suspected that Niles was distributing narcotics in the vicinity, utilizing nearby streets for his activities.


Both suspects were detained on Norton Street after officers observed them walking together towards Richfield Street. Jackson was found in possession of a substance believed to be fentanyl. Niles was carrying an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and two packages of suspected crack cocaine.

A further search of Niles revealed:

  • One plastic bag containing seven smaller bags of light blue powdery fentanyl
  • Nine plastic bags of crack cocaine concealed on his person


A search of 51 Norton Street led to the recovery of:

  • Sig Sauer P365 semi-automatic pistol loaded with 11 rounds in a high-capacity magazine, along with an additional 10 rounds of ammunition
  • Blue pills and a tan powder substance suspected to be fentanyl
  • Large bag of white rock substance suspected to be crack cocaine
  • Three smaller bags of crack cocaine
  • Drug paraphernalia


Daeshawn S. Jackson faces charges of:

  • Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
  • Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
  • Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Trafficking Class B (Crack Cocaine)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A (Fentanyl)
  • Receiving Stolen Property

Julian Niles faces charges of:

  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A (Fentanyl)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B (Crack Cocaine)

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
