14-Year-Old Arrested After Assaulting Four Victims

At about 3:24 PM, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, officers assigned to District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) arrested a 14-year-old Juvenile male for Assault and Battery Charges.

Officers responded to the area of Cambridge Street and Gordon Street for a report on an assault and battery in progress. Boston Police Operations provided officers with information that twelve kids were attacking three individuals.

Upon arrival, officers were flagged down by a fourth victim. Officers were advised that the suspects fled towards Brighton Avenue. Officers observed three of the victims, had stopped one of the suspects who instigated the fight. Officers were able to determine that the suspect was involved and placed him into handcuffs. The remaining juveniles fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

Officers were told that a group of juveniles was walking by the store, and threw a firecracker at the front entrance. One of the victims walked outside to confront the group, and began to video record them. The suspect smacked the phone out of his hands, and began to assault him.

Three victims attempted to intervene, and the suspect pushed them to the ground. The suspect grabbed a broom from one of the victims and began to hit them. The suspect punched and kicked the victims with his boot multiple times. All four victims declined medical treatment.

The 14-year-old juvenile male was placed under arrest and charged with Three Counts of Assault and Battery on a Person Over Sixty, Four Counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon on a Person Over Sixty, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Malicious Destruction of Property. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
