On Sunday, February 23, 2025, Boston Police officers arrested Hermann Ngoufack Jiokeng, 39, at his residence in Brighton, and charged him with Rape. The original incident occurred at about 11:45 PM, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, when the victim took a ride share from a location in South Boston to her residence. During the ride, the suspect, who was the ride share driver, sexually assaulted the victim. He is expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
