Investigation Update: At approximately 2:45 PM, on Thursday, February 6, 2025, Detectives assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested Jabrell Reynolds, 18, of Roslindale, and charged him with Carjacking. He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court. Reynolds is the fourth suspect arrested in a recent Carjacking incident in Roslindale.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incidents are as follows: At about 4:29 PM, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, officers assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) responded to the area of 75 Archdale for a report of a Carjacking. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and learned that two individuals, both wearing ski masks, robbed him of his vehicle following the completion of an Uber Eats delivery.
Officers were advised that one of the suspects was armed with a firearm. Officers were also told that an additional three individuals entered the vehicle before it fled the area. The stolen vehicle was later recovered at the rear of 237 Cummins Highway and was towed by District Detectives for further investigation. At about 8:10 PM, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force observed three individuals matching the description in the area of Cummings Highway and Hyde Park Avenue. Officers lost sight of the group, and located them walking on Rowe Street. Officers exited their cruiser to speak with the individuals, and one suspect immediately fled in a full sprint. A foot chase ensued, and officers observed the suspect holding his waistband as he was running.
Officers were able to apprehend the suspect in the backyard of 237 Cumming Highway. Officers began to canvass the area and located a discarded firearm. The firearm was later determined to be a Ghost Gun equipped with a laser sight attachment, with one round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine.
The 15-year-old Juvenile Male was placed under arrest and charged with Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Delinquent to wit; Carrying a Loaded Firearm, and Delinquent to wit; Trespassing, and Carjacking. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
Officers were able to locate the other two suspects in the area of Cummins Highway and Brown Avenue. Ronnie Perry, 18, of Dorchester, was placed under arrest and charged with Carjacking, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, and Unlicensed Operation. Wilfredo Suarez-Rosario, 22, of Dorchester, was charged with Carjacking. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
