At about 12:50 PM, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) arrested James Wheeler, 35, of Dorchester, and Dante Brown, 38, of Dorchester, for Larceny from a Building.
Officers responded to the area of 28 Nightingale Street for a report of a package theft. Boston Police Operations provided officers with a description of two suspects seen fleeing the area towards Talbot Avenue.
Officers began to search the area and located the suspects on Browning Avenue. Officers handcuffed both suspects and recovered a sealed package addressed to an individual on Nightingale Street.
Both suspects were placed under arrest and charged with Larceny from a Building. Wheeler was additionally charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Both are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
