What a night to remember at the Annual Martin’s Park Ship Lighting in the Seaport! The District C-6 Community Service Office teamed up with the Harbor Patrol Unit to spread holiday cheer in true Boston style.
Officers dressed as Santa and The Grinch got a special ride to the Children’s Museum dock courtesy of the BPD Harbor Patrol Unit. They were greeted by hundreds of excited kids and families. Smiles, waves, and holiday magic were everywhere!
We joined Mayor Wu and other officials aboard the ship for the big moment—flipping the switch to light up the night! Officers even stayed aboard for photos, creating lasting memories with the community at this very special park built to honor the memory of 8-year old Martin Richard.
Thank you to everyone who came out. Here’s to a safe season filled with community spirit!
