A Gold Medal Experience for the Boston Police H.O.P.E Taekwondo Program!
Youth from the BPD’s H.O.P.E Taekwondo Program had an unforgettable day at the Harvard Club, where they met Harvard student and Olympic Gold & Silver medalist Lauren Scruggs!
Lauren brought her Olympic Gold Medal, letting the kids pose with it—and even wear it!
The Harvard Club provided a delicious meal, adding to the excitement. Afterward, the kids took part in an engaging Q&A session with Lauren and the officers, asking thoughtful questions and receiving valuable advice on perseverance, leadership, and success.
