It was a wonderful last day of the summer league at No Books No Ball!
This summer they had over 200 kids participating at the Mike Bivens court in the South End and our BPD academy recruits were right in the middle of the action!
And of course the BPD ice cream truck came right in time with thanks to (HP Hood and the Boston Police Foundation!
The Boston Police have been part of the program for years. Not only to make sure the environment is safe, but also to build relationships and engage with the kids & their families.
Commissioner Cox was on hand to celebrate this amazing program and thanked Tony Richards for being one of our amazing partners & for providing over 200 kids a space where they can have fun & learn the game of basketball all summer long!
