At about 1:00 AM, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) arrested John Mucci, 44, of Somerville, on breaking and entering charges
Officers responded to the area of 28 Worcester Square for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a male suspect fleeing from the area. Officers were able to stop the suspect in the area of Worcester Square and Harrison Avenue.
Officers were advised that the suspect entered the building, but got locked in between the first and second set of doors. The suspect forced his way back outside and shattered a window pane.
Mucci was placed under arrest and charged with Breaking and Entering Nighttime for a Felony. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
