Investigation Update: At about 11:37 AM, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Jajuan Holliman-Wiggins, 23, of Roslindale, in the area of 37 Archdale Road. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling, and Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 3:59 PM, on Monday, July 1, 2024, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 34 Oldfields Road for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
