Today it was “Coffee with a Cop” at Delicias Colombianas in Hyde Park!
These weekly neighborhood get togethers are organized by BPD to continue to get to know those we serve and to build trust between our police officers and our community.
Residents, Commissioner Cox, members of the Command Staff, and Officers District E-18 came together over delicious Colombian coffee and pastries, chatting about everything from public safety to summer vacations.
Special thanks to Delicias Colombianas for hosting us at their amazing cafe, and to the Boston Police Foundation – COP (Community Opportunities Program) fund for supporting “Coffee with a Cop” throughout the year.
These events are crucial for fostering open communication and addressing community concerns.
