At about 4:00 PM, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) were conducting an ongoing investigation to address community complaints of reckless operation of unregistered mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles. Off highway vehicles must be registered with a number plate and expiration decal.
As a result of this investigation, 25 unregistered off highway vehicles were seized and towed for violations of motor vehicle laws. Six additionally off highway vehicles were also recovered on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
