On July 1, 2024, Detectives assigned to the Human Trafficking and Crimes Against Children Unit executed four Search Warrants at 908 and 912 Morton Street, Dorchester. As a result of the search warrants, Luis Lugo, 37, of Quincy was placed under arrest and charged with:
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (9mm SCCY)
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (loaded- 9mm SCCY)
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
- Trafficking Class A
- Trafficking Class B
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D
- Armed Career Criminal 1
Detectives also seized in excess of $89,000 in United States Currency. Lugo will be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court.
