Nothing gets by Old Ironsides!
Officers from District A-1 and our Bureau of Community Engagement had the distinct honor to represent the BPD at the change of command ceremony for the U.S.S Constitution!
At this historic ceremony, there was a reading of the official orders by the relieving officer, marking the transition of command from the 77th commander, the first female, to the 78th commander, the second female of the USS Constitution.
This change of command is historic for women in the Navy, and the BPD was proud to be a part of it!
