Officers from District C-11 and the Bureau of Community Engagement attended the annual Spring Fling for special needs students at various BPS High Schools!
With plenty of singing and dancing to go around, the prom was made even sweeter with the BPD Ice-Cream Truck! Big thanks to the Boston Police Foundation and HP Hood for supporting Operation Hoodsie for more than 10 years!
For the month leading up to the Spring Fling, Boston Police Districts across the City collect new or gently worn dresses and suits for attending students who need them.
Many of the students told our officers they couldn’t wait for our Safety Days this summer, held by our wonderful inclusion officer – Officer Maffeo!
