At about 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, Officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) responded to a 911 call for a person with a gun at 72 Wildwood St. Dorchester.
When Officers arrived, they observed a large house party with 100-150 people in attendance. Officers entered the backyard where the party was taking place and were provided a description of the suspect as a black male in his late teens, with a black face mask, wearing all black, and carrying a firearm near his waist.
As Officers searched the large crowd of people, they were able to locate an individual matching the description provided. Officers approached the individual and conducted an investigation, leading to the recovery of a loaded magazine from a fanny pack worn across the suspect’s chest. The magazine was determined to be a 9mm Lugar magazine loaded with 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
A 16-year-old juvenile male was placed under arrest and charged with delinquent to wit; unlawful possession of ammunition. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
