Investigation Update: At about 2:50 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Micah Ennis, 25, of Boston, in the area of 33 Ellingwood Street. Officers were assisted by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Stop Team, US Marshals, and officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury), District B-3 (Mattapan).
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on warrants issued out of Suffolk Superior Court for five counts of armed (firearm) assault to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of a machine gun, five counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, He is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the first suspect who had been arrested and charged are as follows: At about 3:30 PM, on Monday, October 2, 2023, members of the the Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Gianni Williams, 25, of Dorchester, in the area of 46 Franklin Street, Lynn. Officers were assisted by the Lynn Police Department and the US Deputy Marshals Service.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on warrants issued out of Dorchester District Court for five counts of armed (firearm) assault to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building. He was arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows: At about 8:36 PM, on Sunday, September 17, 2023, officers responded to the area of 180 Stratton Street for a shot spotter activation. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple victims suffering from gun shot wounds. Five victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
