BPD In The Community: Commissioner’s Cup Hockey tournament

BPD In The Community: Commissioner Cox dropped the puck and presented the trophy at this weekend’s finals of the Boston Police Commissioner’s Cup Tournament! Area D won in the finals over Area A and the competition was fierce. The 2024 Tournament was dedicated in memory of BPD Officer Pierce Norton. HIs son, Pierce dropped the puck to get things started and he and dozens of kids had a great time at the family skate before the games!

The co-ed tournament teams were composed of Police and EMS personnel from all over the city.  The event promotes interdepartmental good spirited competition but most importantly comradery and fun outside the everyday work as first responders. GREAT job by members of BPD who organized this wonderful event.
