District A-1 continued its “Walk the Beat” program in Charlestown.
The group started out by fueling up at a local Starbucks which donates coffee every week before the Walk the Beat crew gets in its steps. Officers from District 1 and Community Engagement joined local residents on the walk which included a stop at the Boston Fire Department’s Engine 50 for a quick history lesson on the Charlestown Flag that is painted on the number of their trucks!
We meet at District A-15 every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Spring walks kicked off in March and will end in June. Fall walks pick up again in September!
