Investigation Update: At about 5:00 PM, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) made an onsite warrant arrest of a 16-year-old juvenile male in the area of 40 W Seventh Street. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was wanted for an arrest warrant issued out of Suffolk County Juvenile Court for armed robbery with a firearm. The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident: At about 8:49 PM, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) responded to the area of 28 West 7th Street for a report of an armed robbery. Officers were advised that a delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint, and two suspects fled the area towards Delessio Court towards Orton Marotta Way.
