At about 7:10 PM, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) arrested Jerome Brown, 43, of Brockton following a stabbing incident.
Officers responded to the area of 1950 Washington Street for a report of an assault with a knife. Officers were advised that a victim had been stabbed twelve days prior, and observed the suspect in the area.
Officers were sent an ID wanted flyer for a suspect from the a stabbing that occurred at 10:36 PM, on Thursday, February 1 in the area of 1917 Washington Street.
After further investigation, Brown was placed under arrest and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
