BPD In The Community: Representatives from the B-2 (Roxbury) Community Service Office and the Bureau of Community Engagement recently participated in the Northeastern University Housing Fair. This event provided students with an opportunity to connect with local realtors for off-campus housing options while engaging with various city agencies, including the Boston Police Department, Boston Fire Department, and Inspectional Services Department, who hosted informational tables on safety measures. At the fair, officers engaged with students on a range of topics, including personal safety, cycling safety, Uber/Lyft safety, and resources related to Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence. Additionally, attendees were provided with BPD keychain whistles and hand sanitizer as practical tools to enhance their safety and security.
