Search Warrant Executed by C-11 and B-2 DCU Leads to Trafficking Arrest

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, members from the Area C-11 (Dorchester) Drug Control Unit in Dorchester, in collaboration with members of the B-2 (Roxbury) DCU, apprehended Kelvin Curry, 32, of Dorchester, on charges related to drug trafficking following the execution of a search warrant.

Upon intercepting Curry as he exited his residence in the vicinity of Camden St, officers notified him of the two search warrants obtained—one for his person and another for his dwelling. Initial search of his person yielded 2 plastic bags containing cocaine and 3 plastic bags of crack cocaine. Subsequently, a search warrant was executed at Curry’s residence, resulting in the discovery and seizure of 196 grams of crack cocaine along with $11,889.00 US Currency.

Following these findings, Curry was promptly taken into custody and charged with Trafficking Class B and Possession with Intent Class B, Subsequent Offense. He is slated for arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
