BPD In The Community: Dorchester’s Perkins Community Center recently hosted an exciting basketball clinic on Tuesday February 6, 2024, organized jointly by officers from the B-3 (Mattapan) Community Service Office and Bureau of Community Engagement. The event aimed to engage local youth through basketball, offering them the opportunity to hone their skills while learning important lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship. With experienced coaches and players leading the way, participants enjoyed a day filled with dribbling, shooting, and defensive drills, all while being inspired by positive role models from their community.
